happy holidays

What’s that saying?  The cobbler’s children have no shoes?  Yeah, I totally ran out of time to worry about Christmas photos of my own pups!

*One of Bear’s presents is this year was a reprieve – I didn’t make him pose at all.  (Belle had only very minimal humiliation to endure.)

elizabeth - Hee hee :)…I have a similar pose (although not nearly as professionally done) with another species in the animal world on my blog post today too! Merry Christmas, and thank you for all you do in promoting the less fortunate in the animal world! Blessings, Liz

Becky - That may be the best, “I can’t believe she’s making me do this.–Don’t you feel sorry for me?” look I’ve ever seen. She’s such a cutie!

cody | dallas dog photography

The last – and youngest – one of the bunch.  Cody is the baby brother to Buddy, Vince, and Peanut.  He’s a chihuahua/pomeranian mix, and is just ridiculously cute.  I love the slight little fold in his one ear.

We started the session out in their small backyard… I was a little worried because Cody was not giving me much to work with (with the few exceptions)…

But once we moved inside, the supermodel in Cody came out.

He and Peanut are bestest buddies – two little furballs of adorable.

Our session pretty much wore the whole gang out.  By the time I left, they’d all crashed.

Sarah McGraw - These shots are so beautiful! I love how Cody matches the colors of the home. Awesome!

nick - aww he is adorable indeed =) love that one with the stiok out tongue =)

alexa - What a completely adorable little guy. The photos are gorgeous too! You have such a beautiful and gentle style. 🙂

Ruth - Just gorgeous!

buddy boy

The big boy of the family, Buddy is the gentle older brother to Peanut, Vince and Cody (coming soon).  He’s 13 years old and such a sweetheart.  Mom says he’s a lab/chow mix, but I thought he carried himself a little like a shepherd.

How awesome is that ear hair?  Seriously, why can’t old human men’s ear hair be so cute?

Once we moved indoors, Buddy was a little more difficult to photograph than his brothers — in part because he’s black and we were begging for light — but mainly because he’s the house sentinel.  He spent quite a bit of time up in the front of the house, peeking out the window, looking for mom (there are times when it’s much easier to work a session when mom leaves us be… this was one of those times.  When she’s around, it’s relatively impossible to get their attention…they are most definitely momma’s boys!).

vince | dallas dog photography

Vince is one of Peanut’s brothers.  He’s a handsome 13 year old pomeranian… and he knows it.  Just follows you around and poses.

With a fabulous crimped tail…

I love when dogs frog-leg out.

And he’s even supremely handsome when dozing.

Briana - What a dashing young fellow! 🙂 LOVE the picture of him sleeping. and LOVE MORE that he was so chill with you around that he would be able to nap! 🙂

Deb - he’s a cutie, too. I love that tail shot.

peanut, the little pom nugget

How cute is this little fluffball?

He’s round.  Seriously, perfectly round.  I was shocked when I picked him up and he was actually quite small – it’s all fur.  And it’s awesome.

Peanut is the vocal one in his pack of four boys.  He’s not a constant yipper – but he’ll let you know when something’s going on.  He perches on the back of the sofa, and from his spot, he can see both the front and back doors and what’s happening in the kitchen.

Hee. Such a cute little nugget o’ fluff.

Charlotte Reeves - Awwww…. he is CUTE! What a cuddly little munchkin! Love the shot of him on the couch looking back around at you..

Brittani - So cute…I just want to snuggle with him! I love the one of him on the hardwood floor, and the last one. Beautiful photos 🙂

Deb - I’m in love with Peanut. 🙂
