Bowie belongs to my sister and her husband. She’s a super sweet girl, though she still has a few relatively minor “issues” from her previous life. One of which being that she HATES the camera. Seriously – I’ve been around some dogs that don’t particularly like it, but Bowie’s by far the least comfortable. Nevertheless, my sister wanted me to try to grab a few shots of her in the brief time I was in San Diego. We had a few spare minutes in the evening after the drive down from Santa Barbara but before we had to turn in the rental car, so I grabbed my longer lens and we went on a short walk around the block and then to the tennis court for a little fetching (only a few times – the surface is like sandpaper on her poor little paws).
A little shake…
Though Bowie can sound (and look) pretty tough, there is no doubt she is NOT the ruler of the household. No, that title unquestioningly belongs to Estelle, the Assassin Cat.
Daniel - Wow! Great job. I love, love, love the three shots of her running. And the shake, too. Super cool. Thanks so much.
gina anson - WOW, you are a very GOOD photographer! Man, for a dog that didn’t like the camera, you would never know!
Can you come to my house and capture my 4-legged kids? 😉
Becky (rksquared) - Great pics Debbie. Bowie is a cutie for sure! On a (hopefully-not-too-weird) sidenote, I had a really strange dream the other night that involved two dogs…one named Belle and the other named Bear. 🙂
leesia - love these spreads! the one running across a tennis court (?) is totally trippy! bowie is a cutie.
