black dog + white dog + stick + water = FUN

The weather has finally turned, and the pups and I couldn’t be happier.  Every summer, when it’s 100+ degrees for weeks on end, I ask myself why I live in Texas, and then October to March comes around and I remember.

It’s been gorgeous this week so I decided to pack the dork and the doofus up and head to the creek in Garland where I shot Deigo.  They both LOVED it.  I took my camera and took a few shots — the photos are Belle-heavy but this is really her element (and she’s a natural-born model, easily manipulated by a stick).

Despite appearances, she’s not so crazy.  Just gets the crazy eyes.

I never get tired of watching them together.  Maybe it’s because Belle’s a turd with most other dogs, but their relationship makes smile.  They’re so different, but they L.O.V.E. each other.

Plenty of water spraying everywhere.

And one last parting, shot in black and white.

thank Dog. is going to be at several upcoming events — check the “events” tab on the left for details!

Debbie - I’ll definitely go back in a few weeks when the leaves start to change – thanks for the tip. And thanks for introducing me to the spot!

Marcelo and Deigo - Wow,beautiful Dogs you have, and what a wonderful place to take photos, you should wait a few more weeks when the leaves turn colors then this place really is so colorful and you should see it durning a snowfall in winter. We will be ordering some cards from you this weekend sometime, love your work.

Becky - Love these photos Deb! The tail flip photo of Belle is amazing, and judging by the second photo she definitely has an edge on Phaneuf in the energy department! P is attracted to water like a moth to a flame, but she’s a lazy lounger once she’s in it. 🙂

Dave - where is this creek? my pup would love that place
