Last weekend I participated in the Second Annual Worldwide Photowalk. The Dallas walk filled quickly — and was already full when I first heard about the walk — but I found a walk in the relatively-near suburb of Frisco and signed up.
We met at the Frisco Heritage Center. The Heritage Center is located on approximately six acres and is adjacent to the BNSF Railroad. It has 8 structures plus a steam locomotive and wooden caboose, all of which are intended to provide a glimpse of what life was like for the earliest settlers of North Texas – how they lived, worked, and played. I wandered around a bit (the buildings were mostly closed), but I found myself mainly hanging around the tracks. I guess that’s the kind of girl I am.
Jennie - Amazing shots! Thanks so much for showing that. I checked the site out and hopefully I can participate next year.
